Welcome to VirtualCanines.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VirtualCanines website and game platform (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. About VirtualCanines

VirtualCanines is an online browser-based simulation game featuring virtual dogs, breeding mechanics, and gameplay progression. The Service may display third-party advertisements. All in-game assets, including dogs, currency, statistics, items, and mechanics, are fictional digital constructs with no real-world monetary value.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.

3. Accounts

To access gameplay features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • Keep your login credentials secure.

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

4. Nature of Digital Assets

All virtual dogs, items, currency, statistics, and related content are licensed to you for use within the Service only. You do not acquire ownership rights in any digital assets.

Virtual assets:

  • Cannot be exchanged for real-world money.
  • Have no cash value.
  • May be modified, removed, or reset at our discretion.

5. Payments, Tokens, and Purchases

VirtualCanines offers the ability to purchase virtual currency ("Tokens") and other in-game benefits using real-world money.

Payments

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers, such as PayPal. We do not store or process your payment details directly.

By making a purchase, you agree to the terms and conditions of the relevant payment provider.

Digital Goods

All purchases are for digital goods and services delivered immediately within the Service.

Tokens and premium features:

  • Have no real-world monetary value.
  • Are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash or real-world currency.

No Ownership

Purchasing Tokens or premium features does not grant ownership rights. You are granted a limited, revocable licence to use them within the Service.

Refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

Chargebacks and Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue token packages or premium features
  • Offer promotions or discounts at our discretion

Changes will not affect purchases already completed.

Subscription Services (if applicable)

If subscription-based features are offered:

  • Subscriptions will renew automatically unless cancelled through the payment provider
  • You are responsible for managing and cancelling your subscription
  • Access to subscription benefits may be revoked if payments fail or the subscription is cancelled

6. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The Service may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising partners, including Google AdSense. We do not control the content of third-party advertisements and do not endorse any products or services advertised. Your interactions with advertisers or third-party websites are solely between you and the third party.

We are not responsible for:

7. Acceptable Use

If you upload content, you grant VirtualCanines a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, display, and use that content within the Service.

9. Availability and Changes

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service.

We may:

  • Update or modify gameplay mechanics.
  • Adjust statistics or balancing.
  • Reset in-game data where necessary.
  • Display, modify, or remove advertisements.
  • Perform maintenance or technical changes.

We are not liable for temporary unavailability or loss of in-game progress.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Breach these Terms.
  • Engage in cheating or exploitation.
  • Create security risks.
  • Abuse other users.
